My Dad is planning on taking Mum to Wimbledon 2009 for her 40th birthday. Which airport is closest to Wimbledon? He’s looking for the cheapest flights available from Glasgow to whichever airport is closest. Do you have any experiences with cheap short haul flights? Thanks

Gatwick or Heathrow are closest. Definitely not Luton. Gatwick probably has cheaper flights but you could see if there are any cheap British Airways flights to Heathrow if you book early enough – and you seem to have plenty of time
